2024 Pacing for Parkinson’s (P4P)

Pacing for Parkinson’s (P4P) was originally conceived out of sponsored runners participating in the Baltimore Running Festival. Over the years, P4P has grown substantially and includes remote and international participants. P4P is a volunteer-led community that annually raises awareness of and funds for Parkinson’s disease research, education, outreach programs, and patient care at Johns Hopkins. A large portion of the money raised goes directly to the Johns Hopkins Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center. The remaining funds are put toward basic science research (including supporting the Chua Lab), training the next generation of care providers and researchers, and ensuring facilities are comfortable for patients and loved ones at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

We were ecstatic to exceed our fundraising goal of $500 last year, for a total of $925 in donations, for our lab team, Autophage Against The Machine (https://aspire.hopkinsmedicine.org/project/38504/donate).

For this year, to donate and support our team and Parkinson’s care, please visit https://aspire.hopkinsmedicine.org/project/42665
